[A] SSC CGL 2017 Eligibility Criteria

There are 4 important SSC Eligibility Criteria which a candidate must fulfil in order to be eligible for the SSC CGL 2017. The 4 parameters are given below:

1. Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India

2. Age Limit: There are the different set of age limits for different posts in SSC CGL Exam 2017, which are tabulated below:

3. Educational Qualification: The educational qualifications vary according to the post for SSC CGL 2017 and is listed below:

4. Physical Fitness Requirements: Apart from the above, there are certain requisite Physical Standards for Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) and Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency).

 

[B] SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria

There are 3 important criteria which a candidate must fulfil in order to be eligible for the SSC CHSL 2018. The 3 parameters are given below:

1. Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit: 18-27 years as on 01.08.2018 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2000).

3. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

[C] SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria  

There are 2 criteria that a candidate needs to fulfill in order to be eligible for SSC CPO 2017 Exam.

Educational Qualifications (As on 01.01.2017)

1. A candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

2. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

SSC CPO 2017 Age Limit:

•Minimum Age Limit – 20 years

•Maximum Age Limit – 25 years

[D] SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria  

There are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfil in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2017 Exam. Let’s have a look at all these three criteria:

Nationality: A candidate is required to be

  • A citizen of India
  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan Refugee
  • Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afganistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

Age: A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2016. Apart from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualification: A candidate is required to pass Matriculation or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board or University or Institute.

[E] SSC JE Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for SSC JE 2017 Exam, a candidate needs to fulfil basic three requisites, which are discussed below:

Junior Engineer (QS&C) MES – B.E. / B.Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognized University/Institute OR Passed the Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying (Sub Divisional-II) from the Institute of Surveyors (India).

[F] SSC GD Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen) must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or board.

Age Limit: Candidate is required to be between 18 to 23 years in order to be eligible for SSC GD 2017 Exam. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.

Physical Standard Required for SSC GD 2017

Height

• Males: 170 cm
• Females: 157 cm

Chest

• For Male: Expanded 80 cm
• Minimum expansion 5 cm

Weight

 Proportionate as per the height and medical standard for male and female.

[G] SSC Stenographer Eligibility

The minimum Educational Qualification required by a candidate is to be at least 12th pass from a recognized Board or University. He/She must be able to produce the required documents when asked for verification after qualifying SSC Stenographer 2017 Exam.

•A candidate must lie in the age domain of 18-27 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2017 exam.

[H] SSC JHT  Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification for the Post Code “A” to “E”

Candidates must have passed master’s degree from the recognized university in Hindi with English as an elective or compulsory subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR

Candidates must have passed master’s degree from the recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as an elective or compulsory subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level. OR

Candidates must have done recognized diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Education Qualification for the Post Code “F”

Candidates must have done master’s degree from the recognized university in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as an elective or compulsory subject at degree level, OR

Candidates must have done bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the term compulsory and elective)

Education Qualification for the Post Code “G”

Candidates must have done bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional from the recognized university or Institute plus Master’s degree in any subject from the recognized university or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from the recognized University/Institute.

Age Limit: Candidates who want to apply for SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2018 examination age should not be exceeding 30 years as on 1st January 2018. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the government rules. For more details, candidates are advised to wait until SSC JHT 2018 official notification declaration.

Nationality / Citizenship:

A candidate must be either:

  • (a) a citizen of India, or
  • (b) a subject of Nepal, or
  • (c) a subject of Bhutan, or
  • (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
