SSC CGL Exam is very popular among the young graduates who wish to make their careers secure by getting placed in government agencies and ministries.As per the latest SSC CGL Eligibility from Staff Selection Commission, the age limit for CGL 2017 will be calculated as on 1st August 2017.

SSC CGL 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification: – Candidates should have cleared graduation from a recognized University.

Age Limit: – Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years for the maximum post (Age group variant as per the posts).

SSC CGL Age Limit will be calculated as below:

For Post for which age limit is 20-27 years He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1990 and not later than 01.08.1997
For Post for which age limit is 18-27 years He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1990 and not later than 01.08.1999
For Post for which age limit is 20-30 years He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1987 and not later than 01.08.1997
For Post for which age limit is up to 30 years He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1987 and not later than 01.08.1999
For Post for which age limit is up to 32 years He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1985 and not later than 01.08.1999

The age limit under the SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria is different for different posts. There is a provision of different pay scales for different posts after clearing SSC CGL.

As per SSC CGL 2017 Notification, the commission has changed the age limit criteria for the various post. The posts and their changes age limit can be understood as follows:
