[A] SSC GD 2017 Notification

SSC GD Recruitment 2017

The recruitment process of SSC GD 2017 will start as soon as SSC GD Notification 2017 is released. The SSC GD Online Application 2017 will start from 23rd December 2017 and will end on 23rd January 2018. Candidates are required to apply online for SSC GD 2017 Exam. Candidates are requested to visit the page regularly to remain updated about the upcoming notification, eligibility criteria, syllabus and exam dates of SSC GD 2017 Exam.

SSC GD Vacancy 2017

SSC GD 2017 Exam will be conducted to selected candidates for the post of constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen. The entire recruitment process of SSC GD 2017 will be completed in four stages: Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), computer-based test and at the last the medical test.

SSC GD 2017 Exam Dates

SSC JD Notification 2017 is expected to get released soon by Staff Selection Commission of India. The Online Application Process will start post-release of Official SSC GD Notification. Exam Dates will be notified soon after the release of Official Notification.

[B] SSC GD Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen) must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or board.

Age Limit: Candidate is required to be between 18 to 23 years in order to be eligible for SSC GD 2017 Exam. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.

Physical Standard Required for SSC GD 2017

Height

• Males: 170 cm
• Females: 157 cm

Chest

• For Male: Expanded 80 cm
• Minimum expansion 5 cm

Weight

Proportionate as per the height and medical standard for male and female.

[C] SSC GD 2017 Exam Pattern

SSC GD 2017 Exam will be conducted in three main steps:

  • Physical Efficiency Test
  • Written examination
  • Medical Test

The test will be objective type test constituting of 4 sections. 25 questions are to be asked each carrying 1 marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted when a question is attempted wrong.

SSC GD 2017 Application Fee

A candidate is required to pay Rs. 50/- as application fee for SSC GD 2017 Exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from paying any application fee.

SSC GD Answer Key

SSC GD Result 2017

SSC GD 2017 Result will be declared separately for Physical Test/Medical test, Written Test and the Computer Proficiency Test. Candidates can check their result after the exam has been conducted. The dates for the results declaration will be notified soon by Staff Selection Commission of India.
