Scientists from US have developed a smart bandage that can precisely control the dose and delivery schedule of the medication tailored for a specific type of wound, leading to faster healing. The bandage consists of electrically conductive fibers coated in a gel that can be individually loaded with infection-fighting antibiotics, tissue-regenerating growth factors, painkillers and other medicines.

Rafael Nadal on 8 October 2017 beat Nick Kyrgios of Australia in straight sets of 6-2, 6-1 in the China Open final to win his sixth ATP title of 2017. Top-ranked Nadal, who was tied with Roger Federer and Alexander Zverev at five titles this season, surpassed them with the win in Beijing. This is his 75th career singles trophy.

The Yojana is a welfare program of the Union government. The main objective of the program is to provide LPG connections to 50 million below-poverty-line families in three years.
